What a Project holds
Each Project groups three things:- Sessions. Every conversation related to this work lives under the Project in your sidebar.
- Runners. Your “Pipeline Inspector” can live inside the Sales Project, next to the sessions it creates.
- Context. This is the difference. Keep reading.
Project context
Why are Projects better than folders? One field: Project context. Open any Project, click Edit, and add the background every session and Runner in that Project should know: who the client is, what the goal is, what “done” means, and links that matter. Write it once and you won’t need to paste the same background into every new session. Useful Project context names the goal, definitions, people, and source locations that matter.Project context for “Q3 Fundraise”: We’re raising a $5M seed. Target close is October 15th. Lead conversations are with Haun and Founders Fund. Kent owns investor communication. The data room lives in Google Drive under /Fundraise.
Project context gives sessions and Runners shared background. It doesn’t replace a Runner’s saved prompt or tool permissions. Put job rules in the prompt, then enforce hard action boundaries with Ask or Off.A Project doesn’t make Runners coordinate or pass results to one another. Keep live state in a source app each Runner can read.
Create a Project
1
Click New project
In the sidebar, click New project and give it a short, clear name. “Q3 Fundraise”. “House Move”. “Newsletter”.
2
Add the context
Open the Project and edit its details. Fill in the Project context field with the background that applies to everything inside it.
3
Start working
Use the Start a new session box right on the Project page. Or drag existing sessions and Runners in from the sidebar.
Good to know
- Sessions and Runners can move. Drag them between Projects in the sidebar. A Runner that doesn’t belong anywhere just lives outside of Projects, which is fine.
- Recent catches strays. Sessions you haven’t filed show up in the Recent section of your sidebar.
- Projects sync everywhere. Same Projects on your laptop, phone, and iPad. Add Runner to your home screen →
What’s next?
Runners
Put one recurring job inside the Project that holds its context.
Memory
Project context belongs to one Project. Personal Memory can be used across sessions and Runners.
