# Refer a friend

> Share Runner with people you work with and help them get set up instantly.

Know someone who could use Runner? Share your personal invite link or referral code and they'll be connected to you as soon as they sign up.

## Two ways to invite someone

### Share your invite link

The fastest way. Click **Share** in your sidebar and copy your personal invite link. Send it however you want. Text, email, Slack.

When they click your link and sign up, they're connected to you right away.

### Share your referral code

You also have a referral code in **Settings**. It's a short code like `KENT42` that someone can type in when they sign up for Runner.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Find your code">
    Go to **Settings** in Runner. Your referral code is listed there. You can copy it or regenerate a new one anytime.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Share it">
    Send your code to a friend, teammate, or anyone who could benefit from Runner.
  </Step>

  <Step title="They enter it during sign-up">
    When they download Runner and create their account, they'll see a field to enter a referral code. They type yours in and they're connected to you immediately.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## Who to share with

Runner is for people who spend their day bouncing between email, calendar, Slack, and a dozen other apps. People who tend to love it:

* **Teammates** who are drowning in email and meetings
* **Founders** who need a second pair of eyes on their inbox and calendar
* **Real estate agents** who need to respond to leads faster
* **Executive assistants** who juggle multiple calendars and inboxes
* **Anyone** who says "I spend half my day just organizing, not doing"

## Why share Runner?

When someone signs up through your link or code:

* **They get a head start.** They're connected to you immediately and can see how you use Runner.
* **Runner gets better with more people.** When your team is on Runner, it can coordinate across your apps. You ask Runner to schedule something, it checks both calendars.
* **You help someone save real time.** Most Runner users save 30-60 minutes a day on email, scheduling, and follow-ups.
